Jim, that's cause you live in a snow market. Down here it's a 10 month a year useable thing.
That is one reason. To me a car with the top down looks like a bathtub on wheels. I also don't want to bake while driving during the middle of a sunny day. Convertibles are ok in the evening when the sun is getting lower, like 6pm or so and temps are 75 or warmer. Those are why I don't care for them.

Got some decent snow yesterday. Got home around 3:30 and had 11" in the driveway. Must be close to 20" now or more. Still snowing. Had 8" at my snow stake before yesterday snow
