First Oil Change Analysis

Here's my first oil change analysis on the factory-fill 10W/30 Motorcraft SD oil. Running Delo 400 LE 5W/40 CJ-4 full synthetic now. Hoping to see the high copper and silicone numbers go down on the next oil change. Might even go with Amsoil for the next oil change. Glad to see no antifreeze and low fuel in this sample.

I'm running Amsoil 5w40 signature series fully synthetic in my 2017 and about to send in a sample to see how its doing.

You can't go by the 1st sample but by the 3rd you should have a good idea of whats going on inside the motor, I've been running Delo 400 LE 5w-40 since I did my 1st oil change so now we wait until my next service. My last Ford lived almost all Its life on Delo 15w-40 so I know its good oil but this synthetic 5w-40 still has me on the fence!
