It was a fun toy, but not really fun to drive. I think I am getting old, because when I was 25 a 700 hp car would have been pure fun. Now an old man at 40, it was sometimes fun and sometimes a nightmare. Not happy with a few cars and many bikes I owned. So selling lots of stuff to simplify my life, and also that I will truly enjoy. The Hellcat was bought by an older guy brand new, and he sold it 2 months later. Seemed like a great idea to buy it and so I did. Had my 10 months of fun with it, its new owner can enjoy it next.
Bye Pat.
True. I forget what are the specs?? I was looking at Challengers a few weeks ago and I think the Hellcat was 0-60 in about 3 seconds
Don't quote me on this, but i think a hellcat is about 3.5 seconds to 60 mph and makes 707 hp.
The demon has more traction and is basically a quarter mile car qith lights. It is around a 2.5 second to 60 mph car, with 840 hp.
Good morning all, welcome to Ta-Ta Tuesday. Another day that my body is wondering why the hell am I getting up an hour earlier?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. What color was your Hellcat, Ian?
Morning Mr. Pat...who is spreading those nasty rumors??? I see talk of a Hellcat here...a friend works at the local Chrysler dealer...they got one this past summer...took me out for a ride in it. Actually a rather scary car!!! I'm not sure why he wouldn't let me drive it though.
I'm not sure dealerships allow S&G joy rides...I know that when the Shelby GT500 first came out in '07 we wouldn't allow joy rides...wouldn't even allow folks to sit in it in the showroom. People who buy those cars know what they're all about...don't need to drive them.
I just want to drive a normal one, not the Hellcat. And, I'd be wanting to drive one before I buy it! If I was going to drop that much cash, I'm driving it!
