Rattling mirror covers

Does anyone have a fix for rattling interior mirror covers? These are the plastic triangle covers inside the door for access to the exterior mirrors. Mine rattle quite a bit on frost heave roads and make my otherwise quite F350 sound like crap. I have tried a few things but neither me or the dealer has had any luck keeping them quite, other than removing them.

Having not experienced this, its tough for me to comment. I usually try things like felt tape or foam tape to silence rattles with trim components.

I have the same problem on bad roads. How do you remove covers? Maybe apply some white lube or grease?

mine do it also. I am going to felt tape the push clips and then also where the top of the door panel hits it. I think the majority of my rattle is coming from that intersection....goes away when the heater is on as the plastic arms.
