will a oem navigation system from a 2015 expedition work in a 2008 F350?

From what I have read the plugs on the back of the radios change frequently. I have been looking for one in my 09 and they are too expense to take a chance and I haven’t found a 100% answer yet. Pass it on if you find out anything.

I don't believe it is a straight swap. I have an 2008 with the 6 disc and was going to put a 2012 with nav in it however the 6 disc has an internal amplifier and the nav unit uses an external amplifier that is mounted somewhere under the steering wheel.

If your 2008 has Nav then its possible that it already has the external amp and you might be good to go. if not then there would be a lot of custom work involved..

There is a company that sells everything needed for the swap but it was $1600 if I remember correctly. Bought my nice Garmin for $100.

I also think you have to egt the ACM (accessory control module) flashed at the dealer in order to activate features of oem stereo. I went with aftermarket nav stereo unit.
