Well, never thought this day would come. Due to (financial) circumstances beyond my control, I had to put the old truck up for sale. Just a few minutes ago I shook hands with the man who will be her new owner.
It's been a good ride. Thanks to all of you for your help and support these past four years. Hopefully I'll be back here in a couple of years posting about my new ride.

Oh no, Jason. I am sorry to hear that! But you must know what best for you and your family. And I hope you got the price you wanted. Does the new owner know about the large back window?
The new owner knows about the big back window. Before he leaves tomorrow, Ill make sure he knows about about this place. I'll probably still lurk here, and comment from time to.time.
It's a sad thing, selling off your truck. Did something similar a couple of years ago. Never felt right until I was lucky enough to be able to buy another one. I hope you find yourself back in the driver's seat of a pickup in the near future.
Jason I had to sell my truck a couple years ago because of health reasons. The good people of this forum have allowed me to stick around and even accept my posts about the beast. I say it’s a truck at heart but I think everyone knows that’s just in my head. Anyway the point is stick around, you’ll have fun and enjoy the ride. Who knows you may even come across another truck at the right time in life. No matter what good luck.
Jason, I'm so sorry about your circumstances. You always hear that FTE is a family, and you are apart of it, truck or no truck. Hopefully your circumstances will change and you will be able to pick up another project. Blessings to you and your family.
Sorry you had to sell your truck, but family comes first and you do what you have to do.
Please hang around. Circumstances change and when you are able to have another truck, you need to be ready.
I have found that what is common in this forum...love for these trucks and helping others who love these trucks. Not currently having a truck in your possession is not part of the equation. Stay with us!
Sorry to hear of your plight. Been there, done that, have the scars to prove it. I lost my job last century so it was either sell my fully restored '63 Fairlane 500 to pay the mortgage or figure out how to live in the car. But as time moves on, so do we. Went back to work and went back to buying and restoring old cars. I hope that you too will weather this hardship and come out a better man for it.
I saw it posted online earlier today, and immediately called the guy I sold it to. He's ready to let it go, and I've agreed to buy it from him. More details to come.
