Hi all.
i discovered I have a broken ujoint in my front axle. I'm getting the parts together for the replacement. While in there I'm going to do ball joints. I've decided to use the raybestos pro ones but I can't find a part number for these anywhere. Where are you guys getting these?
Nooooo......XRF for the ball joints.and splicer for the ujoints. Remember cheap is cheap and you don't want to do it twice..... sometimes to the tune of more money
Ok XRF it is!
Those raybestos pro ball joints got some good reviews from users here in past threads I read though. Only reason I was choosing them. They cost more too!
You I’ll need to find a large set of straight snap ring pliers for the snap ring on the axle shaft end. The pliers will need to be atleast 9” minimum. The snap ring is very stout and a PITA.

I went with MOOG ball joints and tie rods on 2 of my vans. Top shelf product and good price.
