Note to self...
when sitting on top of the motor removing the bell housing bolts from a mid 80's F150 with a column shift auto.
take care not to bump the shift linkage
luckily I only took a 1 foot ride. since i had placed chocks before I started wrenching.
talk about nearly loading my drawers

Note to self...
is that the same feeling as when someone accidently trips over the jack that's holding up the rear end of a 3/4ton truck and the whole rear end come down on top of you?
luckily i was laying underneath it up front so it didn't crush me but talk about crapping in my pants!!!

Try thinking you have a starter solenoid problem, (no chocks needed)park truck on sloping driveway by wifes van to use jumper cables, decide that it IS the starter AGAIN, get pissed and climb on motor to remove header bolts, THEN kick the tranny linkage!!I found out that I move pretty quick for a thirty-five year old!
