Bumper guard removal?
Did a search and couldn’t find anything but is there a way to remove the bumper guards? Thinking remove the bolts and replace with a shorter bolt? Or is this a replace the whole bumper thing?

1970 F100 ranger xlt.

See lower pic: The front bumper and guard are the same 1964/77 & 1978 before serial number AG0,001.

So in theory I can pull the guard and replace with a shorter bolt, awesome.

no, just don’t like how it looks. I prefer the cleaner look of no guards. But then there are moments I like them. I am sure I will change my mind a million times before I do anything with them.
