I live in an area where toy haulers aren't sold often so no dealers stock them. So, we bought our last two sight unseen having never set foot in the brand, never mind the floorplan we were after. Even in huge markets like FL, you're not likely to find a dealer with all floorplans of any give brand or combo of brands. The most we saw in person was when we camped at Lazy Days in Tampa. They have the biggest inventory and lot in the country. We spent many hours riding around in the golf cart and poking through different brands. We weren't shopping but it was fun nevertheless like going to an RV show but X100 with no one else there. (They leave anything under 250k unlocked.) After that trip, I do see the value of setting foot and spending time in units before making a decision but unfortunately, in certain markets, that's just no possible.

I found th GD 394 to have very limited storage especially in basement. And having to remove one lounge chair before retracting slides seemed awkward

With the exception of the missing dining table (goes in front of couch?), the Keystone Raptor 398ts looks like a far better layout than the other RVs you were looking at. Not quite so many amenities, but at least it's functional.

I own a Momentum 350M and have previously owned Forest River trailers. In my opinion the build quality of the Grand Design Momentum is far superior. Grand Design also has superior customer service that far exceeds anything I have experienced in the past. If you haven't already done so, you should take a look at the Grand Design RV Owners and Grand Design Momentum Owners pages on FaceBook.
