Hi all,
I've been lurking here for a couple of years, and thought I'd officially join and sign up. Here's my 1960 F100. (vin F10J0K51697). It came with a 272 y-block and 3 speed transmission. Couldn’t get the engine to turn over by hand (tried for a year with MM, penetrating oil, motor oil, even diesel), so adjusted my plan.New plan is to use donor truck (1994 F150, 302, junk yard e4od and rear-end out of explorer) and get this thing moving/running. I’ve replaced the floor pans and am now going through the 302 to refresh. At any rate, thanks for all the advice so far and in the future.
Here are some pictures as i found this truck in the wild.
A worthy looking project. Look for rust in the foot wells, under the floor mat by the door, cab area behind the front tire, lower rear front fender and of course the cab corners.
