Need Horn button flat spring

Looking for the round flat looking 6 finger horn button spring for a 56 f100 panel truck if you have one laying around.

Yes I know I can order one for like $5 and then have to pay like $5 to ship it and my friend with this truck is really low on funds at the moment sad to say

When he took the horn assy out so he could replace the bolt for the turn sig it only had just a round spring like used on cars but the manual shows the other style and low and behold he lost the one that had been used. He is good for losing things for sure HA HA.

Thanks

Your friend must be really low on funds if he can't afford $10 .Is he looking for a free part and shipping..?

Duke, if it is the same part as the '48-'52 trucks I can mail you one. I have an extra.
Just need to know if it's the same part for a '56.

It is kind of a long story as to his money at this time. What makes it worse is he is having to drive his old truck to go anywhere. His 96 truck will not pass inspection and I can't figure out how and what parts are needed and he does not have the money even if I knew what parts would fix it.

At least with the horn spring and the cost of a stamp then his old truck will be a little safer to drive for the time being.
