95 f150 doing crazy stuff
Drove truck to store and go to leave and no start with the key so had to jump solenoid then later in the day went to start truck and once again no start with key in park or neutral and noticed when i turned key to start abs ligh came on and 4x4 and 4x4 low lights came on and then would sorta dim out on dash and 4x4 buttons.
Jumped solenoid again and then as i was pulling off the gauges started sweeping back and forth like they was having a seizure and abs light was blinking along with 4x4 lights and odometer would go blank then show all 8s and transmission would go into neutral....did this the whole way home and everytime the dash spazed it would jump into neutral and sometimes motor would pop/backfire or die for a sec.
What would cause all this out the blue? Computer dying?

The lights always light up,kind of a bulb test I suppose. You will need to get a test light and check your neutral safety switch and your ignition switch. Most likely it's one of those two.

No start with key was wire on solenoid just needed a good twisting....and only light thats ever came on on the dash of this truck is the batt light with koeo...4x4 lights abs etc has never came on.....especially in this manner.....now my 99 everything comes on and gauges sweep once when key is turned on.

Check grounds. Bad grounds will cause "eddy currents" and "sneak circuits" that make weird things like that happen.
Unlikely it's the PCM; most of what you describe going haywire isn't connected to the PCM.
