MMO is primarily a strong detergent...it should take down your deposits by slowly dissolving them. Yes, it contaminates you oil to some degree...but your oil is always getting contaminated. Just make sure you don't add more than a quart and change within 3K miles or 3 months. It shouldn't knock anything loose.

I think you want to determine why you have so much crud? Are you using a decent quality oil? how about filter...hopefully it is a puralator or motorcraft (please don't say Fram, STP or Pennzoil).

Are you changing the oil every 3K miles, or do you have extreme conditions that you are driving in?

I've never had a tremendous buildup that wasn't due to a failure of an engine component or abuse of the engine. Some buildup is normal after many miles, but it should be minimal unless something is wrong.

I would try the MMO and see what that does. You can always pull the upper intake and valve covers to clean them well, and go from there too if you want, but unless it is running poorly, I would go with MMO in the oil and gas and see if that gets it under control.

I used mobil 1 syn 10-30 in winter 15-40 in summer (i think it 15-40) And also use mobil 1 filters.

Before it used all 10-30 no syn for about 115000 miles. (Step dad owned truck)

how long have you been using the mobil1? if for even a little while, that should be cleaning the whole thing out real good. mobil1 filters are good too.
