Hard to nail that one down....
Are you riding a bicycle or an F750? Are you talking about trailer brakes or truck brakes? Air brakes? You're posting in a ford forum about towing conventional trailers.

Brake problems
I guess the rest of my post didn't make it. Every time I hit my brakes I hear a loud whoosh of air and have to pump the brakes 3 or 4 times to have any brakes at all. Even then they are weak and the pedal almost hits the floor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The whoosh sound is likely the brake booster. Sounds like the master cylinder is bad. Check the base where it fits against the booster and see if its wet with fluid.
And check your brake fluid level.
