Funky brakes when it rains.

I've noticed the last few months that when it rains, my brakes seem to grab insanely well. Like I back out of a parking space and ease on the brakes and it feels like I just slammed by foot down on the pedal. Just curious if anyone else has encountered this.

Mine are usually "grabby" when wet as well.

Found this on a Google search:

This is a common problem on Rangers and earlier F-series with drums. I got so tired of it that I put rear discs on my truck.
-characteristic of most all ford trucks, real prevalent in the '90s. comes from the moisture build up in the linings. after rains or long periods of sitting, hold your foot on the brake when you first start moving to dry them out and they'll be fine....
