Do real trucks have running lights on the top of the cab? I hate Ford for not offering them in their half ton variants (F and Bronco). I know I can add them somehow in the aftermarket, but they should have been there from the factory! What do you all think?
Hey Rich,
All the trucks I've owned had running lights. The Bronc I bought used came with the lighted Lund visor.IMO it would look a little weird without it.
Probably cause I'm so used to it.
We go through this at work all the time. I am in charge of ordering at our dealership but I have to confirm every order with the Sales Manager and he always wonders why I put the $65 canadian option of cab lights. I think they are great but he can't stand them. Sometimes I can manage to sneak them through though.
It just something else to go wrong with the truck and it really doesn't serve a useful purpose. I like clean roof lines. If you want lights up there go for KCs at least you can see the difference on or offroad how ever you prefer it.
They look good on a truck. An f-150 is a fine vehicle but a truck it really isn't anymore in my opinion. The next thing you will want is mudflaps and stacks. just kidding but leave the lights for the bigger pickups. By the way I think the K Cs on the roll bar are illegal in most states for highway use so they just make your pickup look like a wannabe dessert racer or something.
