So i've done a disc brake conversion on my 1959 F100. We got our conversion kit from Classic Performance which i listed below. We kept the stock 5x5.5 bolt pattern but now due to the brake caliper the stock wheels will not fit (they needed to be replaced anyway). We have also kept the stock suspension height. We are having trouble finding a wheel that will fit.. We are also not sure of the appropriate rim size and backspacing needed for a good fit. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.
Check out Coker tire. Premium pricing but you get exactly what you need.
Did front disc conversion a couple months back on my '60 and this is what I found to work.
Wheel: 15x10 smoothie, 5x5.5 bolt, 4.5 backspace
Tire: 3" whitewall, 255 / 70r15
Good luck.
