Tulsa, OK friend request
My son has located a 2015 F350 Dually. The photos aren't bad. But eyes on are always better.
We can see some marks below the rear window.
It's about 1500 miles and change and $750 to transfer to CA.
He has reached out but has not received a response yet.
Here is the truck
Here is a shot where you can see the marks below the rear window.
Thanks a bunch in advance.

A closer look at the marks below the rear window.
Full walk around, any unseen damage.
A look underneath, rust, damage, leak, etc.
It looks like a drop in bed liner, confirmation.
5th wheel/gooseneck prep package, there is no photo of the bed.
Anything you might see if you were looking.
Greatly appreciated.

Thanks we saw that one also. The primary issue is head room. That one has a moonroof. He is tall in the body, like his dad and hits his head on the headliner even with the seat all the way down.
Plus his color of choice is bronze fire.
If this one doesn't come through we may look at that one and figure a way to lower the seats.
There is also a 15 KR with wide track.
Thanks
The scratches below the back window do not continue from one side to the other as it appears in the CARMAX image. Hard to say if that was a reflection or dirt. I jumped into the bed and wiped away the dirt in the center area under the window and it looks fine. There are 3 areas that do have some road rash on the cab below the rear window.
Just to make sure I looked at the correct truck, they had 3 SD's on the lot next to one another, this was the only DRW. Clicking the images below should take you to the full res images.

Close-up of the rub marks on the back of the cab passenger side. Definitely down to the metal but not rusty. I will also note it looks like it was recently waxed or buffed, there are signs of wax/rubbing compound residue on several areas around the cab and bed.

Scuff marks on back of cab drivers side down to the primer.

More scuff marks directly to the right of the image above.

It does have a factory drop in bedliner.

No Fifth Wheel Prep. I'm not familiar with what a factory fifth wheel prep looks like on these trucks. I found no evidence of a 7pin connector in the bed and no additional bracing directly under the bed.

There are no door dings or dents in any of the sheet metal. There are some small rock type chips on the leading side of both dually fenders. A few rock chips on the hood between 1/2 and 3/4 way up toward the windshield. Various clear coat scuffs around the bed and one on the drivers side front fender.
All glass is Ford Carlite.
6 matching what appear to be new or almost new Sailun tires.

Looking under the truck, normal rust on the non painted items (drive shafts, front knuckles, drag link, etc.) No signs of rust on any of the painted items.
The front differential cover has some slight surface rust around the edges, looks like normal wear and tear on a 43k truck. No noticeable damage to anything underneath.
DPF is still in place.
No MAJOR visible fluid leaks.
There is some oil that appears to be leaking around the oil filter adapter.

This is an image of a wet spot (didn't show up as good in the photo) on the inside of the drivers side frame rail. I'm not familiar enough with these trucks to know if this is a trans cooler line or something else. After taking this picture I wiped the wet area of the hose fitting with my finger. The substance is black in color and has the consistency of motor oil. Can't say if this is engine oil, power steering fluid or something else. Could it be coolant that has picked up road grime and dirt giving it a black color? I can't say for sure. It had a light feel to it like used engine oil from a gas engine. It was not dark black like diesel engine oil.

All in all this is a nice clean truck for 43k miles. I pointed out only the negative things so my critique might appear tough. It looks as good as it does in the CARMAX photos and only noticing the smaller defects when bending down and looking at the paint in the light.
Edit: Found the CARMAX listing. Those are some nasty looking scratches in the back of the cab. It does not currently look that bad now. It has been buffed out for sure.

We can not thank you enough for taking the time out of your weekend to check out this truck for us. Not only looking at the body, glass and tires, but also climbing underneath to look for things out of the ordinary. You located (2) two potential issues, that a warranty may not have covered.
Because of your info we have made the informed decision to pass on this truck. Not keen on leaks. (coming from a 7.3...
)I am a little leary of the marks on the rear of the cab being there and then gone. It obviously had some polishing done since the photos were taken.
It does not appear to have the 5th wheel/Gooseneck prep package unless it has been covered by the drop-in bedliner.
If we can ever return the favor please don't hesitate to ask.
It is because of people like you that make this forum great.
My son, family and I thank you for your help.
The search continues.

Reps sent your way
Yes there would be additional hardware directly above the rear wheels between the bed and the frame as well.
This truck would need some repainting for me and those leaks addressed.
I did have to explain to the wife why I was truck shopping for someone I didn't know. She didn't understand when I replied because it's a Ford.

Thanks to everyone that sent reps!

Was that dealer Memorial Ford at one time...my youngest daughter lived in Broken Arrow a few years ago and when I went up there to evacuate for Hurricane Katrina I had some warranty work done there on my '04 F-150. The people in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area couldn't have been nicer when they found out we we're up there due to the storm.
