Rear disc upgrade

What year and models of trucks could I pull a set of rear disc brakes off of that would bolt right up to my 66 f100 with a 9"?

JMHO, rear brakes do almost nothing to stop your truck, I would consider a rear disc "upgrade" to be something you would do after your truck is 110% complete and you still have extra money to throw at it.

77-80 Lincoln Versailles had a disk brake rearend and I believe some Granadas too. The aftermarket would also have a conversion kit I am sure.

Okay, is there a truck or car I can steal the front brakes from that would be bolt on without aftermarket parts being needed ? Since that would be more benefit than rears

1973-1979 Ford trucks front disks and sway bars directly bolt on. The steering linkages do to except for I think the tie for ends due to the disk brake caliper. There are many threads on this forum that cater to this swap. I suck at searching myself but give it a try
