Weight in the bed of my truck

I have a 2002 f150 Tritan v8 , i was questioning loading it with 3600lbs of tile and driving it a few hours to get it to my house should I use a trailer ? And what is the max weight for the bed of the truck so that I am aware on my next trip

You would be grossly overweight on a F150

Google max payload F150

I did and tried to post it for you but it came up scrambled in the paste process.

Why not split the load if it's close by and save your springs?

depending on the build of your truck..check the link...payload varies from 1800 to 3100.

basically, the more options your truck has, the more it wieghts, the less pay load it can haul....so check your config against the site data..AND..then check your tire pressure for the corresponding load goal

AND...most important..the data at the link is of a new truck....factor in a lot lest for a 15 year old truck with a kazillion miles on it.
