Scotchgard thoughts -experience

Has anyone applied scotchgard on new interior at home with shaker can?
New 350 arrives this week.

I have. I purchased it from the dealer on our 2004 CRV with light tan interior. Sold it 13 years later with 218000 miles and no stains on the fabric. Thats with 2 kids lol. So with the Ford I decided to rattle can the scotch guard on myself and save some money. Time will tell how well it works. I’m at 7 months now with no issues but it hasn’t really been tested yet. For example tomato sauce was spilled in the CRV and it wiped right up. I’m hoping for similar results on the Ford

Ive always used it on all my cloth seats and carpet. Can’t really say if it helps or not. Just be careful with the overspray as it sticks to plastic really well.

I used the rattle can version in my new Camaro in 1984. It worked wonderfully for 20 years. Apply heavily and renew every few years and you're good to go.
