Hi , my valve started to leak on the outer rear tire, I know it's a recurent problem because of the aluminum wheels. I had to leave for work for a month and it's my only vehicule for my wife. Can anybody tell me what solved their problem ? I don't want to go 10 times to the dealer. Thank you !
i know there are others theads but don't have time for the research right now
I have an appointment tomorrow morning to replace the single leaking TPS. This past fall the dealer replaced all 6 six rims. Not too sure if they will ever figure it out!

They replaced the leaking TPS which they did not stock, so it was a special order for the warranty repair on my truck. In my area I doubt they see a lot of duallys. I feel it was the dealer is just going through the warranty paces. I don't have much confidence that the problem has been solved.
I've been following this thread in hopes that Ford will actually acknowledge this issue. I have a 2017 F350 DRW with 13K that has developed this problem on at least two wheels. One rear outer rim has slight corrosion beginning to form. Found this online this morning: https://ford.oemdtc.com/3565/tire-va...d-f-super-duty
I have zero knowledge of how TPMS sensors/stems are designed so some concern on this statement "When making repairs to the tire valve stem, there is a service kit available that does not include the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor" ??
my bro was getting ready for a trip for the long weekend. Tpms alarm went off. Heard his tire leaking. Found anther post somewhere and did the suds test. Air leaking out of the valve stem. Went to Costco to get a rubber 100 psi stem installed to get on the trip. With all the great info he will see the ford dealer next week. Thanks again. Here is a pic of his corrosion.
Truck Build date 5/30/17
One of mine was starting to leak real bad. Dealer giving me the run around. Parts on back order.
Went to Discount Tire today, they replaced the stem with an aluminum one. TPMS working fine, no more leak.
NO CHARGE!
Steel one had same corrosion as the picture above.
Will get the others done when I get new tires in the fall.
18 f-350 DRW front passenger was losing 5-10psi a day depending on where the stem was, if it was closer to the ground it would lose faster than if it was at top of wheel. Dealer replaced without issue now only lose about 1psi every couple of days, the others hold well...
This is quite the saga. So he is taking it to Larry H Miller Ford in Salt Lake City Utah and they will not replace it with rubber stems. this is quite the saga. So he is taking it to H Miller Ford in Draper Utah and they will not replace it with rubber stems. They have replaced three of the stands but would not replace the other proactively. Now that one is the Leaking. There is a shortage and he has to wait two months to get It have replaced. So he goes to the air compressor oncr or a day. Larry H Miller sucks. He has given the part numbers for the non-platinum and King Ranch rubbber Stems and they say they do not exist. He walked them out and showed them the rubber stems on an xlt. Still no.
Getting 3 off mine replaced tomorrow with rubber ones. If I remember correctly, the inside dually should not go bad since it is a steel rim and not aluminum?

Got both fronts replaced and left outside rear. Had right outside rear done 3 weeks ago. Took almost 3 hours. Think it was because I didn't buy truck there. Told dealer where I bought truck from and she claimed that their service guys know nothing about this issue. There is a bulletin in this, correct?

Yes, there is a bulletin, at least my service manager said there was. Left the truck 8 days waiting for the valve stems, which are on national back order. Finally picked up the truck and at this point just living with it until stems are available. Irritating to say the least.

They changed my 4 aluminum rims and unfortunately one of them was damaged and they ordered a new one. That was on May 5th and I am still waiting for it..
