Another key fob question

2017 F250 Super Duty 8,000 miles. Key fob has intermittently been acting up. I will replace battery and hopefully that works. My question is, if the battery does not solve issue, has anyone had to have anything electrical/ computer fixed on the actual truck or is this always a key fob thing?

Once in a while when i go to lock, unlock or remote start, it will not communicate with multiple attempts. I have to walk around the truck and keep tryin for it to finally work.

Sounds like you need to replace the batteries in the remote key fob.

If that doesn`t work, your vehicle is still under warranty so just take it to the dealer instead of trying to diagnose or fix it yourself.

+1 for battery replacement. Start with the easy stuff. Barring that, sounds like a trip to the dealer for warranty. Buddy of mine just had the receiving unit fry on his Dodge, sounds like yours is more intermittent.
