Ditto the water pump failure. If it's Super Duty, it shouldn't fail after only seven years of use. My 2000 Taurus lasted me to 252k miles and never a water pump problem. Fuel pump, yes, not a water pump. This is factory, not second-hand. This repair - two days on-going, I'm still in a hotel - should be factory covered, not out of my pocket. Or does Super Duty mean nothing to the manufacturer?

Looks like this was necro'd from '18 so I'll just say be glad we don't have the 3.5 water pump design found in the Edge. Completely internal and if it weeps it just weeps into the oil pan. You'll never know unless you see a milkshake on the dipstick.

Anyway, I wonder if OP ever found a resolution. I doubt he's still around. I, too, would suspect AutoZone components....
