Well, add up another 70 hours over the last month and a half.

Interior is mostly Complete.

I need to finish the carpet edge and the rocker panels at the doors.
Still have to figure that out. ;-)

Looking through the Windshield. If it was there. Still need to have someone help me put that in.

The Bed finally made it home.

Wood install, got LOTS of bolts to install.

Bed strips WOW, lots of edges to get lined up….. the wood was a preorder and I really don’t like the way they fits. I MAY redo the wood later.

Bed after all the bolts installed.
Here is at the front of the bed looking toward the back.

Bed installed

I did get the tailgate on but looks like I didn’t take a photo of it.

Bed installed straight shot.

Guess what….. Fenders are home.
Right fender installed.

Left fender installed.

Better right rear fender shot.
Mmmmm that Wheel and Those Wilwood Brakes. Looks Great

part 2

Here is the shot of the tailgate installed, also trying to figure out the taillights and Like my Paper Lights?

Well the truck hasn’t been out side in a few weeks due to weather.

GUESS what.

Well do you like the Color in this photo?

Just wait…..

Lower….

Not sure why but I like the angle and color, I love this shot, the color is amazing.

Rear Shot

This gets Better!!!!

Inner Fenders are installed.

Drivers front fender is on. The dark color makes it hard to see.

Better shot of the drivers front fender.

Full front.

Sorry, raining outside plus it getting dark. This is the best full shot I can get.

Added a few up close side shots.
Sorry its a little dusty.

Hows that rear fender look with that wheel?

Looking forward.

Till next time. Hope to have more completed. I have to work AC lines and heater hoses…. UGH!!!!!

That is a sweet looking truck.
Man I would be afraid of the hours I put in on my 81 F100 project and my 70 AMC Javelin project.

Nice job. I quit counting hours decades ago with Gertie. Also quit counting dollars, as that is scarier still.

Just like Rush Limbaugh, you obviously have, "Talent on loan from God". You have done a beautiful job. Congratulations!

Looking awesome!

A friend of mine had a '62 Ford Falcon nearly that color back in the '80s. It looked incredible in the sunlight.

It'll be cruising time before you know it.

As that skeletal relic makes its debut in your neighborhood, I can sense the pride building. The finish line is within site and the reincarnation is nearly complete. You embarked on a journey that few accomplish especially at the high level of perfection that you have set.

I had to smile at the Cord-o-Matic trouble light with the tungsten bulb hanging from the ceiling in your garage. It is one of the few items that share the age of your project and is an anachronism in today’s world.

You memorialized your efforts in pictures and a time log but I believe they have been etched indelibly in your mind. Great job, thanks for sharing.
