Another 1 for Ranch Hand. This is the Sport model with a 16000# SuperWinch installed.
Hey whiplash, do you have any pics of your truck and bumper from the side? Does the winch bolt onto the bumper flat, or is it on its side bolted through the front of the bumper. I’m looking at the ranchhand and just heed a couple of details cleared up. Thanks.

the Ranch Hand Sport Bumper actually has a removable bracket to mount the Winch to. After install, my installation shop decided to weld the bracket directly to the bumper. The strength has greatly been improved. If you really need pictures, I’ll crawl under there and get something for you.
Actually just a pic from the front looking into the lower part of the bumper where the winch mounts would be great. I’m just curious how it all fits together. Thanks.
Fab Fours Premium bumper. They make it with full front grill and headlight protection too. It’s extremely solid and good looking to boot.
I really like that bumper wapiti, and your truck as well (my ordered’18 is the same colour). Both your front and rear bumpers look great, but the problem for me being in the great white north is after exchanging the Canadian peso for greenbacks the front bumper alone is close to $4k cdn. A little too tough to swallow.

The pictures I sent show there is a U shaped bracket the winch installs onto. The bracket would be installed with the legs pointing up, then bolted through the sides onto the Bumper. One of the pics show 4 bolts facing up which attach the winch to the u bracket. My guys welded the legs on supplementing the bolts. The bolts also go through the fair lead bracket directly into the winch bracket. Then the rest of the pics show the bolts through the frame that bolts the bumper to the truck frame.
How does the weight of these aftermarket bumpers compare to the OEM? The reason I ask is that when I put a winch and winch mount on my 1/2 ton truck I needed to replace the OEM coilovers on the front with an aftermarket coilover that had a stronger spring and could be adjusted. A heavier bumper and especially a winch added a lot of weight. If I was planning to get a new bumper and winch I'm thinking that adding the snowplow prep might be a good idea.

Excellent! Thanks so much whiplash for your time and effort in taking and posting the pics. They help a lot and answer all my questions. Thanks again!
does the mesh screen on the Ranch Head interfere or reduce the air intake at all
for the 6.7. Also what is weight of that Ranch Hand?
The weight is about 250 pounds according to Ranch Hand.
I believe the screen will flow more air than could pass through the grill to the radiator, condenser, etc. I've never heard of anyone having cooling problems and these are very common in Texas.
My last trucks have had what I think was an even more restrictive mesh and there was never any heating issues even heavy loaded (20k plus) and over 100 degrees.
