I am surprised the instructions say use that jumper. That is considered poor practice with most starters, and the geared PM starter I was looking at before said do not use a jumper. The main problem when using the jumper, the starter will scrape after the engine starts. When you let off the key, the starter spinning acts like a generator and keeps the solenoid on the starter activated a little bit too long and makes it drag in the flywheel.
It probably will not help your problem, but if you wanted to experiment, you could take the jumper out and run a short piece of wire up to the solenoid, and then just touch the wire after you get the engine hot and see if it still fails.
it's the Powermaster 9503. I'm going to hook up the dioramas gold one since it has a lifetime warranty and try changing the cable to see if that does anything
Since his starter is not a permanent magnet type he can use it with the jumper. Years ago Ford used a 4 1/2" starter with a solenoid attached for the big blocks and it had a jumper between the positive terminal and switch terminal.
So I replaced the starter solenoid, starter cable, positive battery cable and negative battery cable. Duralast starter started fine soon as I got home after driving for 10 minutes let it sit for 5. Try to start it starter just spins freely like it's not even making contact with flywheel.

I also read all the way through both links that were posted the starter is getting the current it needs now is all the cables have been replaced except for the red ignition cable. But it seems like the ring gear doesn't connect with the flywheel after I run it for more than 10 minutes
Time to measure the throw of the starter gear from starter face and then the ring gear from the starter mounting face to see if they are close.
Then check if the starter is moving the gear as it should.

So instead of measuring I just installed the shim that came with the starter figured if it was too far it wouldn't work at all. Seems to be working now drove it down to the store and back turned it off and back on a couple times and it seems to be working fine we'll see what happens after I drive it for more than 5 min. Thanks Dave that comment reminded me of that show and I think it's going to fix it I'll let you know if it doesn't. Thank you everyone for your help
