I am not sure what you mean, does the buzzer stay on all the time and you want to fix it , or do you want to disable it completely. I wanted to disable my door chime when the key is in the ignition on my 1997 E250 , so I can leave the door open and not be bothered by the ding ding ding. I cut the black/purple wire at the warning chime, mine is inside the dash and accessed by removign the radio and reaching inside, you can tell it is the chime by opening the door and listening for it. I looked it up in the shop manual , but I think the Haines manuals have some of the wire discriptions in them also. By cutting just the wire to the door my chime still works for the rest of the warnings, ie. if you leave your key in the ignition and the lights on. Gook luck.. John
