Platinum badging removal
I'm considering buying a 2015 f450. It's the platinum package, which wouldn't be my first choice, but it's a good deal. I realize I'd be stuck with the shiny tailgate, but are the "platinum" chrome labels on the sides of the box glued on or are there tabs that go through the sheet metal? They really aren't my style. I keep trucks about 15 years or so, so I'm not worried about devaluing it. It's a ways away so I can't just drop by and look for myself.

The bedside emblems are just stuck on with two-sided tape. I pulled mine off on my 14. It cleans up without much trouble.
The tailgate trim piece has several locating tabs underneath so you can't remove it without leaving holes.
