2015 Navigator Sync 2 to Sync 3 upgrade

I finally didn't buy the Nav and kept my 2014 MKT. I installed it and everything works perfectly! The only error is that I ordered the wrong USB adaptor harness. I ordered a 2a insteald of a gen1. $D Tech wouldn't exchange it since I was passed 30 days. I was gonna order the harness from Ford and do it myself but the harness thats in the car is short and wouldn't have any room to splice wires. If anyone needs a gen2a let me know I'll sell it for cheap.

To my knowledge and after consultation with the Vendor. SYNC 3 upgrade DOES NOT ADD any feature that wasn't on original vehicle. Example Heated steering wheel. My 2015 is the XLT 202A package Heated and A/C seats but steering wheel IS NOT heated. Adding SYNC3 will NOT add this feature.
Also make a note with SYNC3 the AUX Input has been removed. For those of you with mp3 players you are either Bluetooth and or USB. Even the Factory SYNC 3 has the AUX Input removed. I am still going forward with the upgrade but sad to lose my Road Trip Radio with Sirius/XM but I will survive.

The upgrade itself is nice, the price not so much. They only give you a $50 core for returning the MFT screen, They probably refurbish it and put the SYNC 3 APIM and charge $2200 ($1600 without NAV) Easy to install but 4D tech is pretty chincy on the MFT core. Just saying. Easy upgrade should take about an hour. Follow the directions to the letter.

The 4D Tech had pretty good dare I say very good instructions. Color sheet with highlighted areas for connections. Once you get over the price the instructions are detailed and pretty easy to understand. Mine took me about an hour. Fairly common and simple tools required. Trim removal tool, screwdriver, nut driver/socket etc... They have Y/T videos for installation, not Expedition specific but you could get the general concept. I believe the F150 was the video but the instruction sheet provided in the kit worked for the rest.

I just put the 4D tech navigation in my 2017 F150 STX but I also want to have live traffic data.
My truck does not have Sirius. Does anyone know how to get live traffic with the 4D navigation? Is the wiring for the antenna already there to use or how I can get sirius so that traffic data shows on my navigation?
It's nice but without traffic data it kinda sucks compared to just using google maps on my phone.
Before someone says just use your phone or Android auto, that is not want I want to do. I dont like how Android auto takes over you phone and additionally my phone is old and cant keep a charge but it still makes phone calls so I'm not buying a new one. I'd rather send $1000 on my truck than the latest and greatest cell phone.
