Fuse box really located here?

Trouble shooting some lighting problems and want to start with checking a fuse. So really, the fusebox is located behind the light switch and upside down so you can even see the fuses? For our convenience? 63 F100

After some contortion managed to get to the fuses (Getting too old for upside down work). Measured the fuse voltages either side of each with ignition on and there you go. One fuse has no voltage either side. It's the very small one and I think its horn, cigarette lighter, and dome light. At least those are all inop.

If you have no voltage on either side of the fuse, I don't think the fuse is your problem.

There are 5 and it's the little 1amp fuse that has no power either side. Need to check the wiring coming in the back.

According to this drawing, your cigar lighter is protected by a 14 amp fuse. Black wire with green stripe to the fuse box.

The horn is not fused. Power comes straight from the hot side of the starter relay. Yellow wire.

According to this schematic, the dome light is protected by a 7.5 amp fuse. Black wire with blue stripe.

I bet the 1 amp fuse will have voltage on one side if you crank the light switch counter clockwise to power the dome lamp. I can't find a fuse labeled as 1 amp, but I bet that's it.

Do you know where to buy this fuse box? I am looking at getting a replacement but don’t seem to see it on any part websites.

This post was dredged from the deep end.

Bryan. Sorry I can't help.

This thread coming up is perfect timing. I was just cursing the fuse block and it perfect location for a contortionist. Lay on your back with feet out the door, twist just right, then try to see and reach around the parking brake rod. Yeah, good luck!!

WHY!!!!!!

Tom

Check Numberdummy's post above. p/n C2AZ-11A647-A
A quick google search finds a couple on ebay and plenty via rearcounter https://www.rearcounter.com/C2AZ-11A...rts183721.html
