Battery problem

Well, I'm happy and pissed. Im glad that I had this problem because it might have just saved me from burning my truck to the ground.
After digging into the wiring I'm now rewiring the whole truck.
I found lots of melted wires and some with fuseable links that did not work.
But Im now pissed because rewiring is not my strong point.
I have a question but will start a new thread.
