6’0” as well, I have a two step stool for quick stuff and a Werner platform, 20” high, for any long term work. Used both on my last truck as well,

5'11" and use a step stool. My truck has the chromed tow hooks and don't want to scratch them.

Be sure to never hook a chain or tow strap to them either, they will scuff for sure! J/K I'm just as particular as you. The first time I needed a tug out of a mud hole (truck was less than 2 weeks old) mine got scuffed and it bothered me at the time.

Everytime I hand wash my truck I see those scuff marks and it reminds of the time a got stuck in a 4x4 truck.

Same here need to stand on something to reach the Dipstick. Fortunate that my Truck don't use any Oil between 5K mi Changes, and the Ford tech gets his hands dirty, not me.

Why not just stand on the bumper cut out area next to the tow hooks I do this anytime looking into the engine compartment and checking fluids.

That's why I use a fabric tow strap. Pulled and towed stuff and so far so good.

And scratch the top of my bumper heaven forbid. Maybe put a towel on the bumper, then stand on it.
