E7te head issue

I picked up a set of heads for the 1996 f250 351w. Both are e7te. The new ones hower seem.to be from a mid 80- 93 f150 or Broncos. On the intake side of the head there is a small 1/2 Hole above the center port. Can this be plugged? Or do.i need to take them back and find a correct set. You can see the hole above the center port on both heads.

They can be plugged. I have a set like that as well from a '90, 302.

It doesn't affect the sealing of the intake gaskets.

Do they get plugged with a freeze plug or tapped and put a screw in plug?

I'm not sure. I just left them open. It didn't bother the intake sealing.
