If a Motorcraft® oil filter is not available, use an oil filter that meets industry..

So my manual says “If a Motorcraft® oil filter is not available, use an oil filter that meets industry performance specification SAE/USCAR-36“

Does anyone know of ANY filters other than Motorcraft that say anything about this standard? It seems like the standard has been around a while but has been completely ignored by everyone other than Ford.
