There is one for sale for $250 on a hunting website i frequent. Is this a good deal? I have a 2000 F350 SRW crew cab 4x4 Automatic. It kicks out of OD on some hills and not even towing anything, just long hills. I forgot to mention and forgot that I was pulling a 27 foot 5th wheel when it kicks out of OD and only goes back into OD on fairly level ground and around 60 MPH it goes back into OD. I guess I was use to my old Duramax and Allison Transmission that would not downshift unless I really got into throttle.

Reason: Additional information
If you're looking for a chip to compensate for something in the truck that's not behaving the way it should, that's the exact opposite of a solution. Pushing the truck harder when it's ailing is like circling a date on the calendar to be stranded on the side of the road. Repairs can be way more expensive than a chip, but so is having a doctor set and cast a broken leg instead of just buying a splint.
There's nothing wrong with the programmer or the tuning written contained within.....
But these pickups shouldn't come out of 4th gear for any reason while unloaded on most any hill.
You didn't mention your speed when the transmission downshifts, but anything above 62-65 MPH takes quite a bit of accelerator pedal effort to force a downshift. My vote is a fuel supply issue, not a power issue.
