67-72 hoods
I know 70-72 had the extra molding across the front but is the front lip the same other that that? If I found a 70-72 good can I just weld up the molding holes and it's the same as 67-69? I have never had one side by side to see what the difference is. Both of my trucks are 69 Rangers. Thanks

The replacement hoods from Ford ended up being the same. Originally 67/69 and 70/72 had different hood letters. The 67/69 and 70/72 letters had different aligning pins in back of them. So 70/72 factory hoods will have holes in them that 67/69 letters won't fit in them. If you don't care about the letters, 2X they are the same.
