In my 65 F100 CC there is a motor (not stock and unsure what it is at this point) with an Edlebrock 4 bbl carb. The truck has manual choke as well.
The question is this...how do you secure the choke line and the accelerator line to the carb? They're hooked up and work fine...but they're held in place with zip ties
P.S. there are many "rigged" parts and add ons to this truck that I'm slowly fixing. As it gets closer to being street legal, I had to address the zip tie issue.
Seriously though, Edelbrock makes a throttle lever adapter and throttle cable plate that should hook up correctly. Don't know about the manual choke though, mine is kinda jerry-rigged as well.
BTW, I haven't used this kit yet, but I will be soon as I am upgrading my stock 2bbl to an Edelbrock manifold and carb.
What transmission do you have? Also if you post your VIN we can decode it for you and tell you what motor was stock.
I have a bracket for the choke cable that came with a generic conversion kit I bought to convert an electric choke to manual. Shoot me an email(since I cannot email you) at lzz.maurer@worldnet.att.net and you can have it if you want.
