Can anyone tell me what the numbers in the bottom left corner of the emissions sticker mean... E5AE 9C485 CLH? As I understand, the E5 means 1985 Ford Truck. Whats the 9C485 and the CLH mean? I am trying to reproduce a sticker for my truck. If you have any other input, I would appreciate it. Like, if most of the information is generic, or do I need to change anything?

This is the ID number for this decal only, it is not a part number and there isn't one, because...Ford did not furnish these decals to dealers, with one exception.
Decals like the above were usually replaced due to engine fires. In order to get a replacement, the parts manager at a dealer had to contact FoMoCo, provide the VIN to order one.
I am guessing that its a little to late to report an engine fire to Ford, so I can get a replacement.... LOL So, besides changing the "E5" to "E4" and the year model, do you think I need to change anything else? I have a 1984 Ford F150 4.9L, 200 I6, Styleside.
OMFG...thats the exact sticker for my truck. the left side of mine is all butchered up. especially where the timing specs are.
is there any way you could re-take this image with a hi-res camera if possible. I'd love to re-produce it and mount it back on the truck.
I reproduced the sticker already. It was pretty easy. I used an app called "Patina." I used the image of a decal from an 1985 ford. I changed the date 1984 within the decal, where it says, "... applicable to" as well as the numbers in the bottom left corner, "9C484." I then took it to a place called "ASAP Signs." They touched it up and put it on a vinyl sticker. Came out really nice. Its a little hazy in the middle, but I'm happy just to have one. Click the photo. In top right corner there is an arrow. Click it. Should give you the option to download image. Click download image. When the image appears, click and hold, then drag it to your desktop. They was the only way I could do it. It printed larger than the actual size. But, you should be able to take it to a sign shop and they'll make it right. Don't forget the rounded corners. I think the border was 1/4"? Good Luck.

What is the Patina app, and what does it do exactly?
I need one of these decals also for my 1984 302. Would you be able to send me a copy of the one you had printed?
How I used it, I took a picture of the 1985 Ford F150 4.9L 300 Emmissions Control Sticker. I opened up the app and selected import. I imported the picture to the app. I zoomed in on the picture as close as I could and then started going over all the lines using the app tools. I did the engine diagram in the same manner. The text, I did on Microsoft Word. I copied then pasted to the decal, then reduced the size to fit within the box. The text in the engine diagram. You rotate the picture, copy, paste and size the words. You have to play around with it for a little bit Learn what each tool does and how you can use it for your decal. I couldn't possibly tell you everything here. I can tell you that the 302 would be a lot different than our 4.9L. You probably need to start from scratch or just use the one above I sent to Shadydrive.
