Got this one at the beginning of October. So far so good. My only recommendation is to have your phone in some kind of case to stick the metal disc onto instead of directly to the phone. Mine's on a case and works just fine. Very good magnet unit.

Piece of scrap wood flooring to match the wood grain. Cut to fit so it's tucked under in the rear and under the sliding door in the front. Cut it to 3-3/4 in. X 9-7/8 in. Then cut a 1/4" out the rear to fit where the door slides into the console and agains so the sliding door can slide up over some to hold in place. Then cut 1-1/2" from the edge of the groove so the curvature of the door can come over. When cutting the wedges cut little at a time and test fit so you get a snug fit. Hard to explain. The door and slots is slightly curved and the wood is flat. Also cut a slot to pass the USB through. RAM rail base with T-Ball, short arm, X-Grip to fit. Small slot in rear for pass through for USB between door and wood. Works great. All can be removed in 5 seconds by push the sliding door fully open and removed wood bracket plate.

K A M I fownd the rails but what it the part number for the T-Ball that you re showing?
I mounted it right above the the AC vent to the right of the steering wheel, below the line of sight so I don't block any of the road but high enough I can see it easily for turn by turn directions. Highly recommend it
