A broken wiper blade, is it my fault or I can file a complaint?
Hi all. Let me ask you something. I have recently bought a set of wiper blades off e-bay. Everything seemed good, I went to install them as the old ones were rubbing windshield with that sound... you know. This was a set of Bosch blades, and one was slightly cracked, or torn, cannot tell you now. I decided to keep them as they are and just install. Anyways, I had hard time inserting the rubber blade due to my wiper tab got some rust on them. Apparently something went wrong, even though I did not seem to push the new blade too hard, but somehow I broke the blade. Now, I followed the generic instruction, you know, that's an average thing https://capitol-tires.com/how-to-ins...er-blades.html. I inquired to the seller to get the replacement and they told it was me who is guilty, as I broke the blade. So can you folks tell me if there is something I can do, as it was not really my fault... Thanks, Mike

Okay, I know that it was stupid of me to try installing something that was broken from the very beginning. I guess I will try filing a complaint, we'll see how it goes, I do not really feel they will refund me for these blades.
Tom, that's what I will do today, will just go and buy locally a new set I guess... Thanks for replying, folks.
