Hi, curious on the incentives/rebates you guys are getting on your new 2018's. My local sales guy also mentioned I can apply for certain "certificates" with ford.. First time buying a new truck. Thanks in advance.
The only incentives that count are the ones that are available on the day you take delivery... For a really good price I suggest you join Costco as an executive member. I ordered a 2018 King Ranch for $1,500 below invoice plus I get other service coupons and whatever incentives are available the day I take delivery.

Not true. Dealers can hold incentives for vehicles based on time of order, during order, or at time of delivery. I've bought close to 30 ford trucks over the years, and with those ordered, the dealer locked in the current incentive in case it was dropped by the time I received the truck. Unless things have changed in the past few years, which could be the case, but I pulled this off on more than one occasion.BTW, don't get hung up on the "invoice game" either. Invoice, which used to be close to 85% of the MSRP, is barely 93% today because dealers play their games. Lately, it looks like on late 2017's, 15-27% off the window sticker is what most have been working... depending on local. You just gotta shop and shop and keep on it. Funny that those GREAT deals I passed on in early November STILL have the trucks I was looking at on their lots. Be patient. $5000 rebates aren't coming anytime soon.

I ordered a 2018 PSD, Lariat, yesterday. I negotiated an additional $ 1,200.00 below invoice (7.9% off MSRP) from my local dealer. The current $1,500.00 available rebate, was reflected on the sales order, for a total of $ 6,250.00 below MSRP - 10.4%. If any other incentives become available at the time of delivery, I will receive them.

I'm about to pull the plug on a F350 order and was curious if the dealer was fine with going straight to the order route after submitting the Costco Auto deal. I've never used the Costco Auto program but submitted once and got 3 calls immediately to come in for the Costco price.
I'm fine with $1000 under invoice before incentives on an order but yours is even better with less email work!
Any idea what time of the month incentives change or are they not that predictable. I tried buying used and couldn’t justify the price so now I am ordering. Best offer so far on 2018 F450 KR is $1800 under invoice before any rebates or about $6200 off msrp. All I see for rebates is $1000 customer cash and $500 for ford credit, not sure it’s worth playing the refi game for $500 or not. Would be nice if the rebates were more by delivery time!

Barbero, how do I acquire the coupon for the $1500 below invoice? Being an executive member can I obtain it online with my truck pending delivery or do I go in person? Thanks again.

$1500 under invoice on an order? I might need to place mine tomorrow now.
Just did the Costco thing today. It was $1000 below invoice before rebates.
Join AQHA for $55 and get $500 off price of a ford.
And if you order you get either the rebates going on now or when delivered. What ever one is better you get. Had 3 salesman tell me this.

actually, there's no physical coupon. You start at the Costco auto ordering website and they send a request to local participating dealers that honor the Costco prices... Costco prices can range from 500 below invoice to over 2,000 below invoice depending on the make and model. Costco then also throws in 50% off of up to $400 service and accessories, after you take delivery. What I also like about it is there's no haggling, there's no salesman going back and forth to the sales manager trying to get you a better price, etc. it's a clean way to buy.
