,4r70w transmission

I have a 2001 f150 4x4. It has no 3rd or 4th gear. Replaced 1-2 solenoid and 2-3 solenoid.Fluid wasn't dirty or no burnt smell. Now the truck will not leave 2nd gear. Any ideas. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

There is no 1-2 solenoid, nor is there a 2-3 solenoid. There are two shift solenoids which come as a unit. You can't replace one without the other.

Does the OD OFF light work? Has it been flashing? Checking for stored codes would be a good thing to do.
