Welp, just got back to the house from doing the oil cooler after work last night. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it could have been much easier (IE having been able to use the lift to get underneath vs a creeper). I'll post some pictures I got either here or in my (deadish) build thread.
FWIW, I have done three of these jobs on my trucks. I always did the Ron video procedure and it has worked great, but that is totally up to you. When I made the decision, my front gasket was dry. It works like a charm!
What method did you use to separate the tube and ends? Rubber mallet?
I pried the rear/cooler from the front mount with a pry bar, then had to take a softer deadblow to the rear mount. Took some gumption, but she came.

Mine was as well, kind of wish I'd have done it Ron's way as I wouldn't have been at the shop till 0630, but I know it is good until the engine gets rebuilt now.
I don't think much antifreeze was able to get in my oil thankfully - most of it came out on me when I tried to tighten the block heater back up (after breaking it loose) to grab a catch can and turned it the wrong way...
