Ok. Another question. I’m sure this was an emission part that was removed but it goes to the intake area. It has a huge amount of suction but Truck runs perfect aside from the high idle. (1200 or so most times). I’m guessing I should plug it off but am wondering if this could be the soft brake pedal issue?
I’ll try to get a picture of where it goes up on the engine. I’m just surprised by how much suction it has and the trucks runs so smooth. I got a rubber plug to stick in the tube to hopefully stop the leak. Like I said. I’m new to these Fords.
Is that drivers side rear of the engine? If so it could be EGR and if that is correct then you wil have a massive air leak at the EGR valve every time the valve opens.
Yes it is. I took a couple pics tonight. I’ll try posting. I did get a neoprene plug I plan on putting in it to stop the leak. My brakes feel very soft so I’m wondering if this could be the issue. It also has no converter on truck. It’s been bypassed before I got it. And on the right fender there’s 2 things that are blowing air as it runs. I’m guessing the air pump.
