My in dash pullout cup holder has extend out a bit too far, the apparatus the cup sits on has dropped down beyond normal open position and the cup holder can't be pushed into the hidden position. I haven't been able to get the part that the cup sits on to go back into position. Anybody have any ideas? does the cup holder come completely out of the dash? I haven't found a way to get it in or out. Any help here would be appreciated. Truck is an 07 F350 Lariat. I checked the owners manual but didn't find any info on this cup holder.
Funny you bring this up, my arm was cracked when I bought the truck and Belle snagged her collar on it the other day and that's all it wrote. There's got to be a fix besides buying that whole assembly. I'm watching this one.

Ironically, Mine was damaged by my cocker spaniel, she slid off the 'doghouse' when I hit a snowbank a little too hard plowing during the 'bombageddon' we got this week...lol. I don't see anything broken on mine, I just need to get it out so I can maneuver that piece that extended out to far back into place.
Guess what I'll do for you.
I had mine out on the new truck do to it being so abused,
There are 4 screws. One on each side and 2 in the back that you can get at from laying down and looking up.
Here are some PDFs that will come in handy.
In mine the cup holder wing was messed up. It took a little time to
take it apart and then put back together. But it did survive the operation.
I'll try and post some photos of the assembly because I still have the one out.

Thanks Yahiko! that answers my questions, now all I need is for the weather to cooperate...14 below here again this morning...but rain is in the forecast for Friday and 41* so I'll be tackling it then. Reps sent.
I apologize, they won't let me send Rep...said I needed to spread them around. Thanks again.

I had this happen (I couldn't push the holder back in).
I removed the assembly (remove 2 screws from below and then 2 from in front - IIRC).
I had a large drink bottle that caused the holder to skip past a stop.
With it remove, I was able to pop the "tabs" back in and it's worked fine since.
I get to say Me Too.
The PO was messy and one of the grips had been popped out of place and I could
not close the holder into the dash. Pulled it out and fixed it. I do need to take a look at
it again because if not closing the way it should. I might just swap the one out of the
project truck in. I already have that dash apart anyway.

That's exactly whats happened to mine, I suspect the wife put a too large bottle of water in it....but I didn't question her on it...if you know what I mean...lol
