im lost!!
i have an 06 6.0 that has no heat at idol. i get heat only when i exhilarate on the paddle my temp was 170 water and 175 oil. so i changed the thermostat now im getting a temp between 188 to 190 on water and 190 to 199 on oil. i do have a code thats telling me that the fan clutch is bad? is that my problem or is the water pump not moving enough water?

Welcome,
with engine running.
check the heater hoses.. (2).. one should be hotter then the other.
check the radiator hoses (2)... one should be hotter then the other.
coolant level.. Full, could have an air pocket..slowing circulation.
report back.
