Nice looking truck you have in the "We need some heavy truck pics" account paid! Did it actually come with chrome around the windshield and on the grill?

Genius = Someone who knows to question and ensure good grounds, rather than just go by what they look like. All electrical repairs should bring certainty of battery connections and engine + frame grounding to the analysis. If I only had back all the time I've spent fixing "problems" that weren't problems at all.

Hi guys! Sorry it has taken me a while to respond. It seems that when my truck wouldn't run some horses were starting to get hungry so I've been running to the feed store. As far as I know the chrome parts on the truck have been there from day one. It does have the "custom cab" logos on the doors so maybe that was part of the package back then. The fellow I bought it from said that, to his knowledge, it was all original except for the bed which has been changed at some point. As far as getting the time spent chasing the wrong problems, man I hear ya! I certainly did learn a lot though! I think that any time in the future that I encounter some electrical glitch grounding will be the first thing that enters my mind...

Always remember, every electron that leaves the battery has to return back to the battery somehow. It's not a one way street

1957/60 Custom Cabs have stainless steel windshield reveal mouldings and a chrome steel grille.

1957's have single headlamps, 1958/60's have dual headlamps.

1960 is unique, as it has a two piece grille (see lower left in pic).
