Source for buying a bed side toolbox?
What's up everyone. New to the forums but not these trucks. Finally decided to join the forum lol. So, I'm building a 77 highboy for pops for his birthday coming up. He had one back in the day that got totalled by a friend, I'm trying to replicate it. Problem is the long box on the truck doesn't have the toolbox on the side. His did. So I need to source one to graph into my current bed. Or find a complete bed that's not shot. Anybody have a source for a complete cutout? Or better yet, anybody have one they would sell? I got this truck replicated down to the T, I feel if i don't get the bed toolbox then it was a failed attempt

Welcome to FTE, and now that parts hunt it on. You will more than likely have to find just the TB and the surrounding sheet metal, and have to put in versus find a highboy specific bed with a tool box. You do know that your frame is narrower in the back half than a late year made none HB 77/78/79. You can put a late 77/78/79 on it, but the mount holes will not line up to your frame.
